Dr Syed Kazmi is a leading consultant endocrinologist based in Peterborough. His areas of expertise include obesity management, diabetes management and insulin pump therapy. He is also highly skilled in the management of thyroid disorders, male and female hypogonadism, reproductive endocrinology, along with adrenal disorders and metabolic bone diseases.
Dr Kazmi sees patients through e-Consultation. With over 25 years’ experience, he also practises for North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust since 2019. His earlier role included working as speciality trainee registrar in endocrinology, diabetes and internal medicine at Cambridge University Hospitals from 2017 to 2019.
Dr Kazmi completed his MBBS at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences in 1999. In 2019, he was awarded his CCT in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine, following training on the prestigious East of England Deanery (Cambridge). Dr Kazmi, who also holds esteemed fellowship to the Royal College of Physicians, completed advanced certifications in insulin pump therapy and life support.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Kazmi has a keen interest in medical education and is an active member of several professional organisations, including the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists, Diabetes UK and the Society of Endocrinology UK.
